Fiddlie is seeking a talented and creative Product Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in designing and developing physical products for a variety of tech startup projects. Please note that this internship does not include a salary.
This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about product design, prototyping, and bringing innovative ideas to life. A significant part of the role will involve modelmaking and creating prototypes to support design iterations.

key responsibilities
Assist in the ideation and development of product designs, from concept to final prototype.
Create detailed sketches, CAD models, and physical prototypes to visualise and test design concepts.
Conduct modelmaking and hands-on fabrication to develop prototypes using various tools and materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product designs based on feedback and technical requirements.
Research trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to inform innovative design solutions.
Prepare presentations and documentation to communicate design concepts effectively.
qualifications
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills in a professional context.
Currently pursuing (in the final year) or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360).
Hands-on experience with modelmaking, prototyping, and fabrication tools.
Strong visualisation and sketching skills to communicate design ideas.
Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Genuine interest in product design and the tech startup ecosystem.
